There is an ongoing debate about which rule we ought to use for scoring probability estimates. Much of this has been premised on scoring-rule monism, according there exactly one best rule. In previous work, I have argued against position. The argument given was based purely a priori considerations, notably the intuition that rules should be sensitive truthlikeness relations if, and only such are present among whichever hypotheses at issue. paper offers new, quasi-empirical monism. This uses computational simulations show different can economical consequences, depending context use.
